My Story

This is a photo of all the tapes my family had stored away in the attic.

We had wanted to convert them for years but were surprised by the cost involved. Snappy Snaps quoted £35-40 per tape, and whilst online services were cheaper we risked the tapes being lost or damanged in the post.

​

During the Covid lockdown, I set up my own system at home. It was brilliant (and emotional!) to watch back on all family memories again. Now, I finally have them all stored as digital files safely on my hard drive.

Although pretty sturdy, VHS tapes age over time and won't last forever. They also take up lots of space! So don't delay.
